FAQ

Our program operates from Monday to Friday, with hours from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Here’s an outline of a typical day in our Life Skills Program:

  • 8:30 AM: Arrival / Social Skills
  • 9:00 AM: Individualized Program (IP) Work
  • 10:00 AM: Snack
  • 10:30 AM: Rights and Abuse Education
  • 11:00 AM: Morning Class
  • 12:00 PM: Lunch
  • 1:00 PM: Afternoon Class
  • 2:00 PM: Individualized Program (IP) Work
  • 2:30 PM: Dismissal

Individuals are eligible to begin attendance at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or once they reach 22 years old and are out of the public school system. Once enrolled, there’s no age restriction on how long they can continue attending.

Our programs offer flexible durations, catering to diverse preferences. Whether seeking short-term skill development or long-term support, participants can attend as long as beneficial. Many participants find value well into their senior years, enjoying the services and community engagement we provide.

CRN is contracted with the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) to offer waiver services for individuals with developmental disabilities. Our programs are covered under Medicaid’s Individual Budget (iBudget) Waiver, which provides home and community-based services (HCBS) for eligible individuals living in Florida. We also offer self-payment options for those who prefer it.

If you require transportation, start by reaching out to your WSC (Waiver Support Coordinator). They can guide you through transportation options, including the convenience of CRN’s transportation services. While CRN does offer transportation services, you have the flexibility to choose the provider that aligns best with your needs.
